The Science Fair provided an opportunity for students to showcase the results of their own science research projects which had been undertaken prior to the date. Ebony and Sam were awarded First Place for ‘Geography’ while Claire was awarded Second Place for her project ‘Gratifying Gluten’.
The projects were fantastic! Congratulations to all students on an outstanding effort and the commitment they showed to the projects. A big thank you to the parents who supported the students on the day and throughout the completion of the projects.
FIGHTING FIT DAY
Mount Annan students and teachers participated in a day of sporting activities aimed at promoting health, fitness and a balanced lifestyle.
The day was a huge success despite the hot weather. The students rotated through 10 activities.
At the end of their rotation, the students were given an apple, which was kindly donated by Woolworths, Mount Annan and a bottle of water.
I would like to thank Woolworths at Mount Annan for their support. A big thank you to the staff and students of Mount Annan for the way they embraced the day and for their continued support of the Fighting Fit program.
PSSA SUMMER GALA DAYS
Softball /T Ball Score “The Double”
In what can only be described as an amazing effort, our school Softball and T Ball teams have been crowned competition champions, with both teams going through undefeated in their respective competitions.
Most of these children do not play on the weekends and have learnt to play at school. All children participated with excellent sportsmanship and were a credit to their school.
The children will receive their winning ribbons and the trophy for each competition at our end of year Presentation Assembly. Well done, boys and girls!

During Term 3 and 4 students from Mount Annan Public School competed in three League Tag Gala Days. Our students displayed outstanding behaviour and were excellent representatives of our school. Congratulations to the Junior ‘B’ team who went through the competition undefeated. They displayed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship and thoroughly deserved being crowned Razorback champions.
